Mosiac Law and Grace of God (UE42)

  'Understanding Endtime'

Mosiac Law
Deu 4:1-2 "Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."
Since God dwelled amongst them, He commanded that the construction of the tabernacle must be in accordance to His specifications. He also commanded the Israelites to strictly adhere to the law and they must not dilute nor adulterate it.
God sent His prophets to judge the Israelites but they rejected Him for they wanted the kings to rule over them.
Since then, God judged Israel as a nation according to the works of their kings. The Jews were judged individually according to their obedience to the strict Mosiac Law.

Gospel of Grace
Out of God's love, He gave us a covenant with His blood by dying on the cross so that in Christ Jesus His grace is freely given to all men.
1. Saving Grace - so whoever believe and accept Jesus as the Christ, the Lamb of God who had risen from the dead - he is saved or born again. With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as the seal of redemption he is without condemnation.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh.

More Grace of God
Jam 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
Jesus will give us more grace if only we can stay holy by humbling ourselves before His Lordship. So when we sincerely believe (without doubt) and accept Who He is, we will receive His grace.
John 6:28-29 Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, " This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

2. Jesus the Healer
I Pet 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Believe Jesus as the only Healer, and not the last minute Doctor.

3. He tasted our Death
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Believe that when Jesus died,  He tasted death on our behalf so that when we face death (deathbed, martyrdom, warfare, etc.) we will not suffer the pain and anguish of death.

Some of His other grace - He is also our Provider, Counsellor, Teacher, Comforter, Deliverer, Protector, etc.
Besides the saving grace, the most important grace is the Spirit of truth.

4. The Spirit of truth
John 14:15-17a "If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth"
John 16:13-14 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, *He will guide you into all truth*; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you."
God can only give us the Spirit of truth when we keep His commandments. The Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth to help us crucify the flesh and overcome Satan and his deceptions. He will also reveal the understanding of Endtime signs.
