Jesus was born a Jew (UE71)

  'Understanding Endtime'

The Law and the Prophets

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
As predestined before the foundation of the world that men would be adopted as sons of God, the Almighty God Creator of heaven and earth must come as a human being (Word made flesh). He was to be filled with grace and truth.
He was born in a stable amongst the animal as the sacrificial Lamb of God (wrapped in swaddling cloths). He was placed in the manger as folders (Bread of Life) for His sheep.
Luke 2:7  And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Angels heralded His Birth
Luke 2:10-11,17-18  Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord... Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
Jesus, born of virgin Mary was the Messiah or Christ. His birth was heralded by the angels and made known to many by the shepherds who saw the Child. Jesus, the Messiah was to come as the Lamb of God for the redemption of men's sin and not as the King of kings.

Parents were Devout Jews
Luke 1:28, 31-32  And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!... And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David."
Mary was a righteous and godly girl and was favoured by God to give birth to Christ Jesus, the Son of God. Both His parents being devout Jews raised Him up in accordance to the Mosiac Law.
Luke 2:41-42  His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.

Circumcised as a Jew
Luke 2:21  And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
On the eighth day and with sacrifices, He was circumcised in accordance to the Law

Simeon Confirmation
Luke 2:28-32  he (Simeon) took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: "Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; for my eyes have seen Your salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel."
Christ Jesus came for the salvation of both Jews and Gentiles.

Anna's Testimony
Luke 2:37-38  and this woman (Anna) was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Anna's testified of Jesus as the Messiah in Jerusalem.
