Fulfilled Ceremonial Law (UE75)

  'Understanding Endtime'

The Law and the Prophets

Priesthood Fulfilled
Heb 7:1-2  For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated "king of righteousness," and then also king of Salem, meaning "king of peace,"
   Our Lord Jesus served the Father faithfully that He was in order of the Priesthood of Melchizedek, to whom the Patriarch Abraham had to pay tithe. So when we are in Christ, we too are His Royal priesthood.
I Pet 2:9  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Furnitures in Temple of God

1. Brazen Altar in Outer Court
Our Lord Jesus was crucified outside Jerusalem, making Him the sacrificial Lamb for our sin.

2. Bronze Laver
The priest must be cleansed with the water of the laver, changed into the white priesthood robe before he could enter into the Holy Place.
A disciple must be water baptized into His death (flesh crucified) before they can enter into His presence.

3. Table of Shew Bread
The Priest ate the unleavened bread (pure Word of God) and similarly His disciple must keep His commandments and words.

4. Golden Lampstand
The priest could see because of the light given out from the fire of the lamps. Similarly, His disciples are enlightened by the Holy Spirit (fire) based on His words.

5. Golden Altar of Incense
The priest burned incense to the Lord. Our Lord being the living sacrifice was a sweet fragrance to the Father, and a Christian too need to be the living sacrifice.
2 Cor 2:15  For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

6. The Ark of Covenant
Heb 9:4  which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
    Our Lord was the chosen (budded rod) and He kept and fulfilled the Ten commandments and His Word was the manna for men.

7. Mercy Seat
Exo 26:34  You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy.
   God was on the mercy seat in the Temple. Jesus' ministry on earth was filled with mercy and truth.

Fulfillments of the Old Covenant
    Since our Lord Jesus had fulfilled the Mosiac Law including Jewish feasts, circumcision, and all moral, religious and ceremonial laws, then all Jewish converts to Christianity only need to believe and accept Him as the Messiah, and keep His words and commandments.

Gal 3:27  For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
   The moment a Jew is baptized into the Body of Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within him making his physical body the temple of God. Christ, who had fulfilled all the Mosiac Law, then dwells in him as the perfect Lamb of God for sin, the sweet Peace Offerings, Melchizedek's Priesthood, etc.

Gal 3:10  For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."
   Israeli Christians (formerly Jews) must be completely free from the Old Covenant, which was weak and imperfect. They must not circumcise their children nor make them follow the Law otherwise they will come under God's curse.
